The Strider is a performance midlength surfboard that takes a timeless egg outline and mixes it with modern performance midlength features. Originally shaped by Emile Theau and tested by Sydney surfers, it's been fine tuned to unlock the best aspects of midlength surfing.
The Strider has a lot of volume, tapered elegantly at the nose and tail. It allows you to paddle faster and catch more waves, giving you more time up and surfing.
It has a flatter rocker, making it fast, with great speed conservation across flatter sections but also enough curve to drive you in a tight arc when putting the board hard on rail.
The rails are 60/40 rounded at the nose and centre, with a hard edge developing towards the tail. The design stops rail bogging but also allows you to cut into the face, helping hold your line in sucked up critical sections.
